On Arrival / Joining at Guwahati, welcome by our Representative and Transfer at the Hotel at Shillong. Guwahati The capital & the biggest city of the Assam. It is also the largest metropolis in north east of India. Later drive Shillong: Shillong is a hill station in northeast India & capital of Meghalaya. Enroute Visit the Umiam Lake: Umiam Lake, a mesmerizing man-made reservoir, is located at a distance of 15 kilometers north of Shillong. it Time permits visit Ward's Lake.

Shillong – Cherrapunjee – Shillong. (60 Kms / 2 Hours - One Way).
This Morning after breakfast, Excursion to Cherrapunjee: Cherrapunjee is also known as Sohra, is a high-altitude town in the northeast Indian state of Meghalaya. It's known for its living root bridges, made from rubber trees. Later Visit Duwan Sing Syiem View Point, NohKaLikai Falls, Mawsmai caves, Seven Sister falls, Eco Park etc. Later drive back to Shillong, during en Routing visit to Shillong Peak and Elephant Falls. In the evening, you can go shopping at Police Bazar or time at Leisure.

This Morning after breakfast, drive to Mawlynnong Village: Mawlynnong Village located in the East Khasi Hills of Meghalaya, also referred to as “God’s own garden” due to its unspoiled beauty & wonderful people. Mawlynnong Village has won the acclaim of being the cleanest village of Asia in 2003. The village known for its cleanliness is located around 90 kms from Shillong & is a community based ecotourism initiative. The community has made a collective effort to maintain the ambience of a clean village. The village offers picturesque natural beauty, a trek to the Single Decker Living Root Bridge at a neighbouring village Riwai. The village also offers a sight of Natural Balancing Rock, a strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock. After Mawlynnong visit to Dawki: Dwaki town is very near to the Bangladesh Border (Tamabil Border from Bangladesh side). Dawki’s Main attraction is the Umgot River also referred as “Dawki River”. Umgot River is very famous for its crystal clear water. You can enjoy Boating & Kayaking sports Activity (Boating & Water Sports Activity will be on direct payments basis by Guest). Evening return back to Shillong.

This Morning after breakfast, drive to Kaziranga. Check-In at the Hotel at Kaziranga. Evening free Time at Leisure.

This Early morning you may go for an Elephant Ride in the park (If Available, Elephant Ride will be on the direct payments basis by Guest). (Time of Elephant ride: 1st Ride- 5.15 - 6.15 AM and 2nd ride: 6.30 - 7.30 AM), After Elephant ride, Return to hotel for Breakfast. After breakfast, visit Tea Plantation, Rubber Plantation and Kaziranga National Orchid Park. Kaziranga National Orchid Park is India's largest Orchid garden. Later visiting for the Jeep Safari Ride in the Central Range. The Central Range is generally believed to be the best range for safari, as it houses a dense population of rhinos and elephants. Later in the Evening Enjoy Bihu dance at Orchid Park in the Day. The Bihu dance is an indigenous folk dance from the state of Assam related to the Bihu festival and an important part of Assamese culture.

This Morning after breakfast, proceed to Guwahati. Check in at the hotel. Later in the Evening enjoy River Cruise over the Mighty Brahmaputra River. Brahmaputra is the third largest river in the world, while it flows as the largest in India. It originates from the northern side of Himalayas, located in Burang County of Tibet. It flows through the ranges of Himalayas before breaking through Arunachal Pradesh and through the major parts of Assam.

General advisories regarding your baggage & Bus travel
Only the two pieces of Check In & Hand Baggage (1 pc each) permitted to be carried in the Bus during travel. If any guest wishes to carry additional baggage on board which is not compliant with the permissible limits it’s at discretion of baggage space in the bus subject to availability. Hence would request all guest to fellow the above strictly and avoid inconvenience to other co passengers on Board.

Assam Meghalaya can be visited throughout the year its pleasant weather and great road connectivity. But Monsoons bring the best visual delights of the state.
Women are empowered in Meghalaya and most business are run by women making Meghalaya a state where even solo female traveler will feel safe. Police force is helpful towards the tourists in general.
A week is enough to enjoy the beauty of Assam Meghalaya.
Meghalaya (means Abode of Clouds in Sanskrit) is famous for its high rainfall, subtropical forests and biodiversity, beautiful rivers, huge no of waterfalls, rolling hills, a very well accepting culture and hospitable people.
No you do not need any permits to enter Meghalaya. Your normal id like Adhaar Card, Voter Card, Driving license, etc is sufficient. No Special permits are required to enjoy Dawki, Cherrapunji, Shillong tour packages.
